According to the International Energy Agency, some 20,000,000 emission free cars will have to be on the road by 2020 worldwide, in order to keep temperatures from rising more than the two degrees agreed upon in Paris. An ambitious goal that the IEA says cannot be reached without major support from the transport sector.
