EU approves fast-charging conglomerate: BMW, Daimler, Ford and Volkswagen with its subsidiaries Audi and Porsche have got the EU Commission’s permission for the installation and operation of an ultra-quick charging network through a joint venture. As announced earlier, construction is to start still this year with initially 400 CCS fast-charging stations with up to 30 charge points each along Europe’s core highways.

Test with 200 electric taxis: At 24th of May, the Indian city of Nagpur will kick-off a trial including 200 electric taxis provided by Mahindra. It’s the first project of such magnitude in India.
