There might be some good in Model 3 deliveries being slow. At least that is what GM’s marketing seem to have thought when designing their latest email campaign around one currently unique selling point of the Bolt EV.
With news about Tesla having problems to produce the Model 3 and deliveries being prioritised to recurring customers, Chevy smells a chance to sell its own Tesla rival. Chevy sent an email to consumers stating in bold letters: “Bolt EV: Now available”. True that.
Especially at a time when other carmakers struggle to deliver. A new survey has revealed wait times for such models as the Hyundai Ioniq EV or the Smart ED of up to a year, while people even wait months for a Nissan Leaf or Renault Zoe (we reported).
