Tesla receives another large Semi order

TCI Transportation has ordered 50 Tesla Semi trucks, providing another major haul for Tesla. The Californian TCI focuses on the rental and leasing of semi trucks.

Teslas list of customers for their Semi keeps growing. The newest addition is on a list including FedEx and UPS, as well as beverage companies, such as PepsiCo or ecological management firm Bee’ah have ordered trucks. The total order between the four companies stands at 295 trucks, while more smaller orders have been secured from Walmart and the DHL Supply Chain.

In early march, Tesla made headlines with their Semi, as they began transporting battery components between Gigafactory 1 in Nevada and the factory in the 400km distant Fremont.
