Innogy eMobility Solutions will be presenting the new generation of charging stations they developed in-house for the first time at E-world from 5 to 7 February in Essen. The new product portfolio for charging with up to 22 kW alternating current consists of three different variants.

According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the chargers can be wall-mounted or installed free-standing on a pedestal. Operation of the charger is intuitive and the entire product is intelligently networked. According to Innogy, all variants are based on standardised communication protocols and can be networked with IT systems. The modular concept allows users cost-effective installation and update capability, also in the charger’s hardware.

With this flexibility, the company wants to address a broad target group – from companies to shop network operators and municipal utilities to private customers. The “customizable features” include adaptation to weather conditions, connectivity and network capability through WLAN or Bluetooth functions, the integration of a SmartMeter for legal-for-trade and kWh-accurate billing or intelligent networking with the Innogy backend for IT services such as load management and Co.
