Saemes to install over 1,000 charge points in Paris car parks

In Paris, a number of car parks are being equipped with 1,100 AC charging points for electric vehicles. The car park operator Saemes has chosen TotalEnergies and the telecommunications provider Sogetrel as partners for this project. Some charge points are already in operation.

Wallbox Chargers opens factory in Barcelona

The Spanish charging infrastructure manufacturer Wallbox Chargers has opened its new production facility in Barcelona, in which around nine million euros have been invested. Currently, the new factory in Barcelona produces almost 1,200 chargers per day.

Wallbox Chargers to build factory in Texas

The Spanish charging infrastructure manufacturer Wallbox Chargers has begun construction of its first production facility in the USA, which was announced last year. This is being built in Arlington in the state of Texas and is scheduled to start production by the beginning of autumn 2022.

Nova Scotia to see 250 AC chargers installed by 2023

Nova Scotia will receive $1.2 million in funding to install up to 250 electric vehicle chargers throughout the province. The money will be made available through Natural Resources Canada and go to the Clean Foundation that will select locations as per demand.
