Renault is giving its range of light commercial vehicles a new look. At the same time, the French company will be presenting new visuals for the Master Z.E. battery-electric and, with the Kangoo Z.E. Concept, a preview of the next generation of the Kangoo series, to be launched next year.

In the same way as Renault’s conventionally powered Transporter Master and Trafic, the Master Z.E. will be launched in September in a revised version. Both Master sister models will have a modified front, which will feature C-shaped daytime running lights and a radiator grille decorated with horizontal chrome clasps. In addition, there is a redesigned interior “with many comfort details”, according to Renault. Meanwhile, what remains the same in the electric version is the lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 33 kWh and the R75 electric motor with 57 kW, which enable a range of 120 kilometres in real working life.

In addition, Renault’s Kangoo Z.E. Concept, an electrically powered study, will take the spotlight to show the direction of future generations of Kangoo, Kangoo Rapid and Kangoo Z.E. models. In addition to an elegant and athletic design language, the study also features a new light signature. Renault has said that they will provide more detailed information at a later date.

When we interviewed the head of Renault Germany, Uwe Hochgeschurtz, at the latest IAA Commercial Vehicles,  he was emphatic that the future of vans is electric, emission-free, autonomous and networked.
