Hyvia presents near-series prototype of the Master H2-Tech

Hyvia, the joint venture set up this year by Renault and fuel cell specialist Plug Power, has unveiled near-production prototypes of the Renault Master H2-Tech and its announced hydrogen filling station. The latter will be available for purchase, lease or rent in the future.

Faurecia to supply Renault’s future fuel cell vehicles

An unofficial fuel cell alliance is forming in France as Faurecia will supply hydrogen tanks for the new fleet of FC commercial vehicles Renault plans to launch at the end of this year. Faurecia will design and manufacture these tanks in France and is already preparing for expansion.

Renault offers more battery options for electric trucks

Renault Trucks has announced new battery options for its all-electric D Z.E. (16-tonne) and D Wide Z.E. (26-tonne) truck models. The trucks previously equipped with 50 kWh modules can now be ordered with 66 kWh modules. With the Master Z.E. electric van, the battery remains the same, but the payload is optionally increased.

Renault vans with fuel cell range extender

Renault is equipping its Kangoo Z.E. and Master Z.E. electric vehicles with a fuel cell system – but as a range extender and not as the main source of energy. This should increase the range of the two models to up to 370 kilometres.
