Inspiring competition: BMW sends Daimler a farewell video
It is a bit of a sea change for the industry, Dieter Zetsche leaving Daimler after 13 years at the helm and even BMW felt inspired to say goodbye in their very own way. This is the farewell video, featuring “Zetsche”, and well, a BMW i8.
The accompanying tweet speaks of embracing a new future after retirement, but we are pretty sure, the video did not include a new job offer, or does it? In any case, Dieter Zetsche has handed the reign over to Ola Källenius and well, who is to say he not free to choose any car he likes to ride?! Here’s to the new:
