MotoE still hitting speed bumps

The premiere season of the electric motorcycle racing series MotoE continues to be marked by breakdowns. After the start of the season had to be postponed due to a big fire in the paddock in Jerez, there was another fire in the Spielberg paddock on Friday, when Niki Tuuli’s electric bike went up in flames while charging.

Fortunately, nobody was injured during the incident, but questions will have to be answered before the season can commence. According to a MotoGP statement, the exact cause of the fire is still being investigated.
