Tesla’s Giga Berlin Corona cases & USA labour law violations

Tesla is attracting attention again: A larger number of corona cases have been detected at the Giga Berlin construction site in Grünheide, Germany. The number of infected persons is in the double-digit range.

Meanwhile, in the USA, Tesla has suffered a defeat in a fight against trade unions: The electric car manufacturer was taken to task for an anti-union tweet by Elon Musk and other labour law violations.

The case was covered by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) over claims that Tesla discharged employees over the unionization actions and engaged in illegal “coercive actions”. The investigation concluded that Tesla did indeed violate US labour laws, however, the agency doesn’t actually have the authority to impose any form of punishment on the company or it’s representatives.
