Matchbox is now also entering the electric era

The classic toy car brand is launching miniature versions of some electric cars. The first model is a Tesla Roadster made of 99 per cent recycled materials that will be available from 2022. Other models include the Nissan Leaf and the BMW i3 and i8 models.

Their die-cast model will be the Tesla Roadster, which is to be made from 99% recycled materials, as previously mentioned, making it certified Carbon Neutral. As the model is set to launch in 2022, it could even beat the actual Roadster to market!
