Nio starts delivering the ET5 Touring in Europe

The EV maker kicked off deliveries of its newest EV in Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway. It is not clear exactly how many units have been delivered so far.

Nio presented the ET5 Touring in Europe in June. The first customers in Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway have now received their electric estate. How many of its new EVs Nio has delivered in Europe is unclear. According to CnEVPost, nearly 11,700 were handed over to clients in China.

In June, the Chinese electric car manufacturer presented the ET5 Touring, the estate version of the ET5 electric sedan, in China and Europe. Order books in both markets opened on August 1 2023.

In Germany, the ET5 Touring with a 75-kWh battery starts from 59,500 euros and with a 100-kWh battery from 68,500 euros. If the battery is rented, the basic purchase price drops by 12,000 euros (21,000 euros for the 100-kWh battery). In the Netherlands, the price starts at €63,900 for the 75-kWh ET5 Touring and €72,900 for the 100-kWh version – including the battery.

The ET5 Touring measures 4,790 × 2,178 × 1,499 mm with a wheelbase of 2,888 mm. Nio puts the kerb weight at around 2.2 tonnes. The powertrain is the same as the EL6 (360 kW), with the above-mentioned battery options and all-wheel drive with a system output of 360 kW. The drag coefficient is at 0.25 cW.
