Nio backs away from leasing-only offers in Europe
Nio will offer the possibility to not only rent but also buy its electric models in Europe from 21 November. Until now, the business model of the Chinese newcomer only provided a leasing option. According to the manufacturer, the feedback from interested parties has changed its mind.

Nio launches ET5 deliveries in China
Nio delivered the first batch of the mass-produced ET5 to customers in China on September 30th; just barely hitting the targeted delivery window. Subsequently, Nio intends to scale up deliveries of the electric sedan very quickly. The ET5 could also come to Europe in 2023.
Nio ET5 to arrive in Europe in spring 2023
Chinese EV manufacturer Nio unveiled its new ET5 mid-size sedan in December, with deliveries in China scheduled to begin in September 2022. Now, CEO William Li revealed that the Nio ET5 would also arrive in Norway and some other overseas markets from spring 2023.
Nio reveals 1,000-km range sedan and EU plans
Chinese EV manufacturer Nio has unveiled its new mid-size sedan ET5. With the largest battery, the sedan’s range is expected to be more than 1,000 kilometres. Nio also reveals it will be introducing “its products and holistic service system to Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark in 2022.”
