The joint commitment for BAIC and Hyundai to cooperatively produce vehicles must be getting the best to advance technology re transport. Whether it is guaranteed safe investment for South Korea may be of doubt, due to size disparity. Should there be a plant in both countries, that may add security to a cooperative enterprise which needs security going forward. Who knows? Clearly both countries are proving how they are leaders in EV development. This cooperative model can and should be welcomed and supported.
