ChargeZone to build India’s largest charging hub in Bangalore
The new charging hub in Bengaluru features 80 DC fast chargers with dual charging guns and 50 AC chargers, allowing for up to 210 EVs to charge simultaneously. This setup makes it the facility with the highest number of charging points in India.
ChargeZone’s new site in Bengaluru is one of the most powerful charging stations in India. It has a total installed capacity of more than 4 megawatts and caters to not only cars but also intercity buses and heavy-duty trucks, supporting EV adoption even in high-emission vehicle segments. The company has given ample space to facilitate large electric vehicles.
The CPO operates the new charging hub 24/7 and says customers can fully charge their EVs there in just 35 to 45 minutes. With over 200 charging points available, the company anticipates zero waiting time, but it has still built waiting lounges at the facility, just in case.
“This hub represents a significant milestone in our mission to advance India’s electric mobility,” ChargeZone Founder and CEO Kartikey Hariyani said. “It is more than just a charging facility; it is a comprehensive ecosystem built to meet the evolving needs of electric vehicle users nationwide,” he added.
ChargeZone is India’s largest EV charging network, and it operates even in the UAE. The company offers more than 13,500 charging points at more than 1,200 locations between the two countries. It specialises in building fast charging stations for electric cars, electric buses, and electric trucks and is setting up these facilities not only in the city but also along key highways.
According to a report from Bangalore Mirror, Bengaluru had approximately 273,000 EVs and 5,880 charging stations in April 2025. The Centre for Study of Science, Technology, and Policy, an Indian think tank, expects it to have more than 2.3 million EVs plying on its roads by 2030.
