Each of the 8.55-tonne vehicles features a 129 kW electric motor paired with an L-battery pack, offering a range of up to 200 kilometres between charges. The trucks come with a standard cab, digital instrument cluster, and a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen display. Driver comfort is ensured year-round thanks to automatic air conditioning, a heated steering wheel, and a heated windscreen.

For safety, both vehicles are equipped with lane departure warning, Active Brake Assist 6, a blind-spot information system, and a reversing camera. The thin-walled box body features a Dhollandia tail lift with a lifting capacity of 1,500 kg. Daimler Truck emphasises that the eCanter’s compact dimensions, combined with high manoeuvrability and substantial cargo volume, make it particularly suited for urban distribution.

Gebrüder Weiss employs more than 8,600 staff across 180 locations in 34 countries and has been present in Croatia since 2000. The company currently operates over 50 alternative drive vehicles in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Czechia, and Croatia – ranging from heavy-duty trucks to electric vans – as part of its commitment to gradually increasing the share of alternative drives within its fleet.
