Parent company BMW also highlights that the delivery marks the first major fleet handover under Mini’s new direct sales model. The agency model was introduced there in 2024. In this case, retail partner AutoFrey is responsible for sales and delivery.

The Mini brand continues to see strong momentum in Austria. According to the manufacturer, Mini registrations in Austria rose by more than 24 per cent in the first half of 2025, while fully electric models recorded an increase of over 160 per cent, nearly tripling new EV registrations. Fleet customers play a key role in this growth, accounting for around 56 per cent of all new Mini registrations in the country.

“At Mini Austria, we are proud to continue our successful cooperation with our strong local partners Biogena and AutoFrey,” said Maximilian Stelzl, Head of Mini Austria. “The delivery of Austria’s largest electric Mini fleet under the new agency model is a milestone for us and our retail partner network.”

Having already adopted 82 Mini Cooper SE vehicles for its company fleet in 2021, Biogena took an early lead in corporate electric mobility. With this new fleet order, the company underlines its long-term commitment to future-oriented mobility and responsible entrepreneurship.

“By building Austria’s largest electric Mini fleet, we are sending a clear signal of lived sustainability,” said Julia Hoffmann, COO of Biogena. “We began our journey towards electromobility back in 2021 – today, that decision saves us around 84,000 kilograms of CO₂ per year. Our employees are proud to be part of this development – and that makes us proud as an employer as well.”

Her colleague Stefan Klinglmair, also COO at Biogena, added: “Sustainability is deeply rooted at Biogena. Here at our Good Health World site, we already generate around 50 per cent of the electricity for our electric vehicles ourselves. This is how we combine innovation with responsibility and demonstrate that modern mobility and genuine environmental awareness go hand in hand.”
