First, let’s examine the markets where Changan recently launched. In Italy, the company will offer its battery-electric models, the Deepal S05 and S07, with prices starting at €39,990 and €44,990, respectively. The Deepal S07 is priced exactly the same as in Germany. However, the smaller S05 (read our test drive review here) is available in Germany from €38,990, making it €1,000 cheaper than in Italy. Plug-in hybrid versions of the Deepal S05 and S07 are set to follow in Italy next year, though pricing and further details have yet to be announced.

In Spain, Changan is also launching with the two battery-electric SUVs from Deepal. According to a Reuters report, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants will follow in 2026. While prices for Spain were not mentioned in the article, they are expected to align with those in Italy and Germany. Changan has already begun selling its vehicles in eight European countries, including Germany, the UK, and Norway.

After entering these two Southern European markets, Changan will expand into another Scandinavian country next year. Through a partnership with the importer Andersen Motors, Changan will introduce its vehicles in Denmark starting in 2026. “Danish drivers will soon experience the Changan Deepal S05 and S07—two fully electric SUVs combining impressive range (up to 485km WLTP), fast charging capabilities (up to 200kW), and our comprehensive warranty package.
Expected launch: End of March 2026,” Changan Europe announced on LinkedIn. “This partnership marks our sixth distribution collaboration in Europe, bringing us closer to our vision of making sustainable, innovative mobility accessible across the continent.”
