Madrid claims clean air

Madrid’s new conservative city government attempted to roll back the driving bans in the inner city, causing a series of protests. The penalties for driving in the environmental zone with a combustion vehicle have now been reinstated, following a court decision on a lawsuit filed by environmental activists, including Greenpeace.

Barcelona is acquiring new electric and hybrid buses

A contract has been signed with Rheinbahn in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the delivery of ten electric buses.
