In the United Kingdom, the stock of electric cars grew by 34.7 per cent last year to 1,797,809 vehicles. This corresponds to a share of 4.9 per cent of the total passenger car stock. When examined alongside vans, buses, and trucks, a similar proportion of electric vehicles is evident.
