The BMW Group is launching a closed-loop battery recycling ecosystem together with SK tes, a leading provider of innovative technology lifecycle solutions. The process will recover cobalt, nickel and lithium from used batteries before returning them to the value chain to make new batteries and is expected to launch in 2026.
