Xiaomi is developing solid-state batteries for its electric cars that enable a range of over 1,200 km, according to Chinese testing standards and a fast-charging capability of 800 km in 10 minutes. Chinese media reported a patent for the technology, which describes a layered electrode structure that improves ion conductivity and energy density.
