BMW has implemented “comprehensive measures along the supply chain, production and usage phase” for the new iX3 – the first model based on the Neue Klasse platform – aiming to conserve resources and reduce its environmental footprint. The Munich-based carmaker also provides specific figures indicating when the iX3 offsets its CO2 footprint from production and becomes cleaner than an internal combustion engine.
