ABB acquires Numocity charging operators in India

The ABB E-mobility division has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Numocity, a leading digital platform for electric vehicle charging in India. ABB will increase its shareholding to a 72 per cent controlling majority with the right to become sole owner by 2026.

ABB & Shell build German 360 kW charging network

ABB E-Mobility and Shell are planning to set up the first Germany-wide network with ABB’s Terra 360 fast charging station. More than 200 charging stations, each with a capacity of up to 360 kW, are to be put into operation over the next twelve months.

Swiss technology group ABB has acquired a majority stake in US company InCharge Energy. ABB had held a ten per cent stake in InCharge Energy since 2020 and is now increasing its share to 60 per cent. The acquisition is intended to strengthen ABB’s e-mobility division in the North American market.

ElectReon plans inductive test road in Italy
