VDL selling e-buses to towns in Germany
Dutch bus manufacturer VDL Bus & Coach has received orders from three more towns and cities in Germany to deliver 16 electric buses in total. The orders come from Plön in Schleswig-Holstein, Völklingen in Saarland and Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia.

VDL presents better battery pack for buses
VDL Bus & Coach is introducing a new battery package for its electric buses. In addition, the Dutch company is planning to build a plant in Roeselare, Belgium, and announced that the 670 Citea Electric buses currently in service in Europe have passed the 50 million kilometre milestone.
