Ebusco scores huge e-bus order from Deutsche Bahn
Ebusco has been awarded a framework contract with German rail services, Deutsche Bahn. The electric bus manufacturer is to become the main supplier of zero-emission buses in the period 2023 to 2024, with an option for two more years.

Ebusco takes over 40% of Zero Emission Services
The Dutch electric bus and charging infrastructure manufacturer Ebusco has acquired 40 per cent of the share capital of Zero Emission Services (ZES) from Engie. Founded in 2020, the Dutch company ZES works on overall concepts for zero-emission inland shipping.

Ebusco takes e-bus order from Rouen in France
Dutch electric bus manufacturer Ebusco has received a potentially major order from France. The contract with the Metropole Rouen Normandy includes four Ebusco 2.2 electric buses for delivery around the end of 2022 and an option for 76 more vehicles.

Munich orders 14 electric 18-metre Ebusco buses
The Dutch electric bus manufacturer Ebusco has received a follow-up order from public transport operator Stadtwerke München in Germany. The order is for 14 electric 18-metre buses of the type Ebusco 2.2. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2023.

Ebusco delivers electric buses in Germany & Denmark
In the last week, the Dutch electric bus company Ebusco delivered a total of 25 electric buses to Transdev in Frankfurt and to Nobina in Copenhagen. Another two electric buses were handed over to Stadtwerke München, while a large order has been confirmed in Berlin.

Ebusco to hit the Amsterdam stock exchange
The Dutch electric bus and charging infrastructure manufacturer Ebusco is planning its IPO on Euronext Amsterdam. Through the IPO, which is to take place in the course of the coming weeks, Ebusco is aiming for gross proceeds of around 300 million euros.

North Holland becomes 100% zero-emission bus region
The province of North Holland has launched the first zero-emission bus concession in the Netherlands. It will see operator Transdev replace all buses with combustion engines with electric ones in the Gooi en Vechtstreek region during 2022. The concession will run through 2030.

Ebusco and Rocsys reveal e-bus charging robot
Dutch electric bus and charging infrastructure manufacturer Ebusco and Rocsys, a supplier of plug-in robots, are joining forces to automate bus depots. Their first robot automatically inserts the CCS plug of the depot charger into the electric bus for charging.

Frankfurt to receive 13 electric buses from Ebusco
The Dutch manufacturer Ebusco will deliver 13 new electric buses to Frankfurt am Main for operator Transdev Rhein-Main at the end of this year to replace the current diesel buses. These are the 12-metre long Ebusco 2.2 low-floor versions.

Ebusco: lighter electric bus for more range
Ebusco presents the third generation of its electric bus, claiming a range of up to 500 km due to a 33 per cent weight reduction. The Ebusco 3.0 will debut at Busworld in Brussels on Friday and is scheduled to go into production in the Netherlands in mid-2020.

In the Netherlands Qbuzz orders 160 electric buses
Qbuzz, the public transport operator in the Dutch provinces of Groningen and Drente, have ordered no less than 160 electric buses. 60 should come from Ebusco, 45 from VDL and 55 from Heuliez. The buses should be in service from mid-December.

40 electric buses headed for Munich
Munich’s utility Stadtwerke München (SWM) announced to procure 40 electric buses for the city’s transit operator MVG. An order has been placed with Ebusco, a Dutch company specialising in electric buses and the first six are to arrive next year.
