Audi to install 4,500 charge points at its plants

Audi wants to invest around 100 million euros in charging infrastructure to install at its own sites and is planning more than 4,500 charging points, most of which will also be publicly accessible. The majority will stand at Audi’s German plants with some at other locations as well.

Airbus & Audi reveal electric air taxi CityAirbus

As part of the Urban Air Mobility project, Airbus has now presented the air taxi CityAirbus in the Audi town of Ingolstadt. The electric aircraft with eight rotors takes off and lands vertically and will be able to transport up to four passengers. The model still has its maiden flight ahead of it.

Audi agrees to assemble battery packs in Germany

It has taken some wrestling but now the Audi management and worker’s council agreed on installing a battery assembly in Ingolstadt. The site thus builds up “competence for future technologies” says the union, that before managed to convince Audi to build two new electric SUVs here.
