Siemens to deliver battery-electric trains to Hesse
Siemens Mobility has received another order for its battery trains. The Hessian public transport operator Hessische Landesbahn is procuring three two-car Mireo Plus B. The new battery trains will operate on the local lines ‘Oberwesterwaldbahn’ (OWB) and the ‘Unterwesterwaldbahn’ (UWB).

Siemens to deliver seven BEV trains in Denmark
Siemens Mobility has received an order to supply seven Mireo Plus B battery-powered trains to Midtjyske Jernbaner in Denmark. This is the first order for battery-powered rail vehicles in Denmark and part of a pilot project.

Zero-emission trains for Brandenburg
The Berlin-Brandenburg region will get its first zero-emission regional trains from December 2024. Siemens to deliver 20 battery-electric trains
The Baden-Württemberg State Railway Authority (SFBW) has ordered 20 Mireo Plus B battery-electric trains from Siemens Mobility. The trains, which will be used around Ortenau, are scheduled for delivery by December 2023.
