JLR reveals hydrogen-powered Land Rover Defender
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is developing a fuel cell-powered prototype of the Land Rover Defender, which is due to start testing in the UK later this year. The H2 off-road vehicle is being created as part of Jaguar Land Rover’s research and development into future technologies.
UK government boosts electric automotive sector
The UK government has awarded £73.5 million in funding through the Advanced Propulsion Centre. This includes ten projects in the automotive sector to develop technologies to reduce CO2 emissions. A significant proportion of the money is being spent on furthering electric vehicle production and technology.
