General Motors invests in Lithium Americas
General Motors is investing in the lithium producer Lithium Americas, thus securing access to the Thacker Pass mine in Nevada, the largest known source of lithium in the USA and the third largest in the world. In addition, GM has secured its supply for another component for its electric cars with a German company.

GM introduces new electric pickup ‘Sierra EV’
General Motors is introducing another all-electric pickup truck. Like the previous combustion model, the Sierra EV runs under the GMC brand and is based on the Ultium platform. In the ‘Denali Edition 1’, the electric pickup with impressive data can already be reserved – but delivery will not take place until early 2024.
