China marks 6.9 million NEVs sold over 2022
Total sales of New Energy Vehicles in 2022 amounted to 6.887 million units. This is according to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and represents an increase of 93.4 per cent compared to 2021.

Mercedes-Benz increases electric car deliveries in Q3
Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars delivered around 30,000 battery-electric vehicles in Q3 2022. That is more than twice as many as in the same period of the previous year. The Group’s sister company Mercedes-Benz Vans delivered an additional 3,300 electric vehicles between July and September.

Smart has published first European prices for its electric SUV #1. In Germany, the base model Pro+ starts at €41,490, with three more variants above that. For the UK, pre-orders of the Launch Edition will open in January and are limited to 100 cars. Pre-orders for other models will open in Q2 2023.
