Lucid Motors offers drivers to charge for free in Canada
Lucid Motors announced opening a new Studio in Toronto. It is the company’s second outlet in Canada and 23rd in its growing North American retail network. The company expects to begin Canadian deliveries of the Lucid Air in Spring 2022. There’s also good news on cooperation with Electrify America.

Vicinity scores sales & marketing deal with Skydome in Ontario
Canada’s commercial vehicle manufacturer Vicinity Motor has signed a deal with Skydome, an automotive dealer and service centre in Ontario. Skydome already placed its first order for 50 Class 3 electric trucks and will also act as Vicinity’s exclusive dealer in the City of Brampton.

Toronto to procure 300 electric buses

Toronto orders 10 electric buses from New Flyer
New Flyer of Canada have received a large order from the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for ten electric buses with an option for another 30. The order is part of TTC’s plan to electrify their entire fleet by 2040.

Electric car sharing is hot in Austria as the government prolongs its support by another year. Municipalities can receive up to 7,500 euros per EV destined to share. So far, about 20 local communities have set up such electric car sharing schemes with more to come.
