BMW 7 Series hybrid comes to India: The vehicle will be available there come July 23rd. It combines a petrol and a 15-kW electric motor and is said to use 15% less fuel than similar cars with petrol engines only. Test driving the HybridAir: This prototype of a Peugeot hybrid car has no battery. Instead, it features compressed air technology, which the carmaker developed together with Bosch. The goal is to cut extra costs associated with hybrid vehicles. Unfortunately, test drivers were not impressed, saying the car drove ‘sluggish.’ Still, they support the idea and hope that PSA will perfect the technology soon.
