Ford-Fusion-EnergiAmbitious Ford roadmap: The carmaker plans to invest some 4.1bn euros in electrifying its fleet. As a result, 13 new models will hit the market as plug-in hybrids or all-electric vehicles. One of the first and expected by the end of 2016 will be the new version of the Ford Electric with fast-charging capabilities. Ford is also investing in R&D for battery and powertrain technology.,,,

VW teases: Volkswagen published a first teaser picture of what is most likely its e-microbus announced for the CES in January. All that is shown is the LED illuminated front of the new vehicle, which VW says will mark the start of a “new era of affordable long-range electric vehicles.”,,,

Tesla Edinburgh store: Tesla has opened a new retail store in Edinburgh. It is the first Tesla store in Scotland, where the Californian carmaker currently operates two Superchargers.,

E-tow tractor: Linde Materials Handling has introduced an e-powered tractor for use in production applications. The P20 has a two tonne towing capacity and can take even tight corners in factories, warehouses or stores.
