Tesla Model 3 to be reverse-engineered in Germany?

Two Tesla Model 3 have been caught in airfreight boxes on their way to Germany. Nothing too suspicious about that apart from their destinations: Leipzig and Stuttgart, the new and old heartland of German automotive engineering, only that this time it may be reverse.

It would not be the first time, German engineers ordered a Tesla in order to deepen their “research” on EVs. Just recently, Daimler employees had practically ruined a hired Tesla EV – for testing reasons.

The images for this latest case of alleged reverse-engineering appeared on Facebook with #Leipzig and that is of course where BMW is building its electric cars. And then there was another DHL sticker with destination Stuttgart, which is Mercedes-Benz and Porsche’s home.

Just probing, are we?!
