Honda is at the Auto China where the Everus EV Concept is allowing a glimpse into what the Japanese have lined up for the Chinese market for new energy vehicles. Honda’s first serial China EV will be made together with JV partner GAC and be made fast.

On sale is scheduled to begin before the year’s end. Technical details are most scarce but apparently the Everus concept is based on Honda’s HR-V, a compact SUV.

The electric model is to integrate into electric car sharing on the Reachda platform, a Chinese service Honda recently bought shares of (we reported).

The Japanese multinational aims for two thirds of its sales from electrified models by 2030 but aims to reach this target 5 years earlier in Europe.
