Don’t drink and scoot
In an effort to make streets a little safer, 26 people were booked in Copenhagen over the last few days for operating electric scooters with a blood-alcohol level above the limit, while four others were found to be under the influence of drugs.
First-time offenders are fined 2,000 kroner ($300), which is doubled for a repeat offence – ouch. Better to save on the fine and the potential hospital costs associated with drunken driving.
