Porsche boss Oliver Blume recently confirmed in an interview that the Porsche 911 will “never” be driven purely electrically ex works. Since the German manufacturer refused to do so, another company has taken it upon themselves to electrify the classic 1965 Porsche 911.
If you absolutely need the electric 911, you should take a look at the following offer from the Zelectric conversion company: They converted a 1968 Porsche 911 in poisonous green with a Tesla drive. There is only one so far, and that will be raffled off to benefit the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
