Recall for Mercedes eSprinter & eVito models

Nearly 8,000 eSprinters and eVito from Mercedes-Benz worldwide have to go to the workshop due to a software problem. A fault in the battery management system can lead to loss of drive power. The recall affects 7,996 eSprinter vehicles worldwide and 2,511 eVito vehicles in Germany.

Mercedes also recently had to issue a recall in the USA, however that was limited to only 24 vehicles.
