New Porsche club only admits enthusiasts of electric sports cars

The Registro Italiano E-motion is the world's first Porsche club exclusively for drivers of all-electric sports cars. Founded in Franciacorta a little over nine months ago, the club counted 131 participants in 73 electric vehicles during its first outing.

The Registro Italiano E-motion was launched in May with the signing of its founding charter at the Porsche Experience Centre in Franciacorta. According to official Porsche statements, the club’s exclusive focus on electric vehicles (EVs) makes it the world’s first of its kind.

The club’s first outing after its founding also began at the Porsche Experience Centre in Franciacorta, as confirmed by the manufacturer. A total of 131 participants set off in 73 Taycan and Macan models, heading towards the Dreamwerk of Hans-Peter Porsche near Salzburg. Porsche announced that this excursion took place last September. The group included 42 Taycan and 31 Macan models, featuring a variety of configurations: rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, S versions, Turbo S models, and even two Turbo GT variants.

Additionally, six vehicles showcased bespoke paintwork from the ‘Farbe nach Wahl’ (Colour to Order) programme, including special shades such as Fjord Green, Signal Yellow, and Moonlight Blue Metallic. “Some Macan models are equipped like the Sneak Preview versions, which were exclusively presented to selected customers before the official market launch,” the statement added.
