Daimler to restructure its EV battery development unit
The carmaker is currently discussing to ‘insource’ this unit, according to the Stuttgarter Zeitung. Formula E won’t allow battery competition before 2025
The idea was to open up the competition to manufacturers component by component but for batteries this won’t happen before 2025 at least.
