Volkswagen’s energy subsidiary, Elli, is set to change tariffs with higher prices coming in from June. This adjustment will affect not only Elli customers but also the charging fees of VW brands. Ionity to hit UK charging network targets before due date

In the UK, Ionity says it has already completed upgrading all eight of Extra MSA Group’s countrywide motorway service areas (MSAs) to six ultra-rapid chargers – ahead of UK government scheduled targets. Ionity is also installing ultra-fast charging at Gateshead’s Metrocentre in Newcastle.

Shell & Renault interested in buying into Ionity

Shell and Renault are apparently two of several interested parties that want to take a stake in the fast-charging network Ionity. The final bids for a 20 to 25 per cent stake in the joint venture, worth 400 to 500 million euros, are expected to be made in July.
