Nuvve and SDG&E launch V2G scheme for electric school buses
Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) specialists Nuvve and San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) say they have agreed to allow electric school buses to give energy back to the grid. This is to prevent blackouts through the utility’s Emergency Load Reduction Program (ELRP).

BYD and Levo Mobility partner with 5,000 BEVs
BYD and Levo Mobility have announced a collaboration to integrate Nuvve’s vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology with a variety of commercial, public transport and heavy-duty BYD battery electric vehicles. The plans encompass the joint deployment of up to 5,000 BEVs over the next five years for fleet solutions.

EDF launches V2G service for Nissan fleet customers in the UK
EDF is launching a new commercial charging service in the UK using vehicle-to-grid technology established through its joint venture, Dreev with Nuvve, in 2019. Nissan is on board and will offer the new V2G service exclusively to fleet customers of the Leaf and e-NV200 models.

Nuvve & Romeo Power collaborate on V2G and BMS
Nuvve and Romeo Power have announced a collaboration to integrate communication protocols between Nuvve’s vehicle-to-grid (V2G) platform and Romeo Power’s battery management system (BMS). This should enable Romeo Power battery systems to become V2G compatible, regardless of the commercial vehicle platform.

Nuvve uses merger to enter the US stock market
The Californian Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) specialist Nuvve has announced its intention to go public through a merger with the investment company Newborn Acquisition. After completion of the merger, the joint venture Nuvve Holding is expected to be listed on the US Nasdaq stock exchange under the ticker symbol “NVVE”.

1000 V2G charge points in GB – Nissan and UK government
Almost 10 million pounds in funding have been earmarked by the British government for the country’s largest vehicle-to-grid project to date. 1,000 V2G charging points will be set up across the UK together with Nissan over the next three years.
