Bolt set to expand with €150m investment
The Estonian mobility company Bolt Technology is going to invest more than 150 million euros this year to expand its e-scooter and e-bike business. By the end of this year, Bolt aims to expand its fleet to more than 230,000 micromobility vehicles in over 250 cities across Europe.
Bolt Technology launches longer-range kickscooter Bolt 5
Bolt Technology has taken the veil off its latest e-scooter, Bolt 5. Plans will see the Estonian company roll out 20,000 new scooters in European cities in the coming months. Bolt Technologies closes largest funding round to date
Bolt Technology, easily tagged as Estonia’s answer to Uber, has completed its largest funding round to date. Investors poured 628 million euros into the company, which had received another €600Mn in financing only last year. Bolt’s e-scooter hire is but one part of the growing business.

The Estonian company Bolt Technology has raised 600 million euros in fresh capital in a financing round. The money is to flow partly into the food delivery service Bolt Market, and other offerings of the company are also to be expanded.
