EU: ChargeUp Europe sets concrete demands
ChargeUp Europe, the lobbying association of European charging infrastructure providers founded last year, is appealing to the EU Commission to set binding national targets for charging infrastructure as part of the reform of the Alternative Fuels Directive (AFID).
ChargeUp demands EU charging infrastructure regulation
In an open letter to the EU Commission, ChargeUp Europe, an association of European charging infrastructure providers, has called for a new stand-alone regulation for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The association says this should be separate from the existing directive for alternative fuels (DAFI).
ChargeUp Europe gains new members
ChargeUp Europe has just welcomed ABL + reev as its newest member. The Association says it is gaining ground in its mission to accelerate the rollout of EV charging infrastructure and enable seamless charging for drivers across the EU.
ChargeUp Europe to upgrade to industry association
The charging infrastructure lobby organisation ChargeUp Europe wants to change from an informal alliance to an industry association next year. To this end, the organisation has appointed Christopher Burghardt, ChargePoint’s Managing Director Europe, as President for the first full year of operation.
