Daimler Buses to produce e-buses in France
Daimler Buses will also produce its eCitaro electric bus in France in the first quarter of 2024. The German manufacturer will invest around 50 million euros in the French location of Ligny-en-Barrois by 2030 for this purpose.

Bremen expands electric bus fleet with 35 eCitaro G

Qbuzz and OV-bureau order 35 Mercedes eCitaro G
The Dutch public transport operators Qbuzz and OV-bureau Groningen Drenthe have placed an order with Daimler Buses for the construction of a total of 35 fully electric articulated Mercedes-Benz eCitaro G buses. According to the contract, deliveries are to be completed by 2026.

Wiesbaden receives its 100th electric bus
ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft in Wiesbaden has taken delivery of its 100th Mercedes-Benz eCitaro electric bus. The delivery from Daimler Buses is part of an order of 56 units placed three years ago, the order volume of which has since increased to 120 electric buses.

HEAG mobilo orders 24 eCitaro buses for Darmstadt

Daimler & Volvo join on truck and bus fuel cells
Daimler Truck and the Volvo Group intend to establish a joint venture to develop and build fuel cells for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Although the letter of intent just signed is non-binding, a final agreement is expected to be concluded by the end of the year.
