DPD UK hits electrification targets earlier than expected
The parcel service DPD is making faster progress than planned with the electrification of its UK fleet. DPD currently offers an all-electric delivery service in ten UK cities and aims to do so in 30 locations by the end of 2023. This is five more than originally planned and two years earlier than previously expected.
DPD UK orders 1000 Ford E-transit vans
The parcel delivery company DPD is expanding its fleet in the UK by 1,000 Ford E-Transit to a total of over 2,500 electric vehicles. The first of the 1,000 Ford E-Transits ordered are to be delivered to DPD later this month.
Major UK fleet operators renew call for ICE ban by 2030
The UK’s four biggest fleet operators, BT and Openreach, Centrica, DPD UK and Royal Mail, today called on the British Government to commit to 100% electric vehicle sales by 2030. The demand comes trough the UK Electric Fleets Coalition, run by The Climate Group.
