Madrid claims clean air

Madrid’s new conservative city government attempted to roll back the driving bans in the inner city, causing a series of protests. Two London councils to ban polluters

Two London borough councils are going to ban all vehicles except ultra-low emission variants in key areas during peak times to reduce air pollution. Starting on September 3rd, petrol, diesel and older hybrids will have to be careful where they drive at times.

Milan to introduce diesel ban in 2019

The city of Milan has now also decided to install a diesel ban albeit in small steps. As of January, 21, 2019, older diesels (up to Euro 3) will be banned from driving in city limits from Monday through Friday.
