Czech PM baulks at EU emissions targets
The Czech Republic has joined a growing number of countries and manufacturers that oppose the EU Commission’s climate package. The ‘Fit for 55’ plan effectively bans the sale of combustion engine cars in Europe from 2035 – an unwelcome move for some.

USA: 9 states release plan to boost electric vehicles
In a Trump-defying move, 9 states of America with California in the lead have released an action plan to boost electric vehicle sales. The plan lists 80 steps that the industry, utilities, state officials and infrastructure companies should take until 2021.

Tighten EU emission regulation, please
It is not every day the EU hears someone asking them to give them stricter regulations and this time, it is neither citizens nor environmental organisations but industrial heavy weights. Those dealing in deliveries brought by trucks want tougher rules so that they can come clean.
